Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern every booking made with Land of Sand Adventure for quad biking, buggy tours, horse riding, camel rides, sandboarding and desert evening experiences in Agadir and the surrounding region of Morocco. They apply whether you book through this website, by phone, by email, on WhatsApp or in person at our office on Boulevard du 20 Aout.

1. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once you receive a booking reference from us. The reference (format LOSA-YYYY-######) is displayed on your confirmation page and included in your confirmation email. Until you receive this reference, no contract exists between us.

All bookings are subject to availability. Our online calendar shows real-time capacity, but we reserve the right to decline a booking if an error has occurred or if the activity is no longer available for your chosen date and time.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) and are confirmed at the time of booking. Where a price is shown as "on request" or "contact us", our team will confirm the exact price with you before any payment is taken or the activity takes place.

Payment methods accepted include cash on arrival, bank transfer and mobile payment where arranged in advance. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Prices do not include personal travel insurance, which we strongly recommend for every participant.

3. What you need to tell us

You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking, including:

• The correct number of participants (adults and children)
• A valid email address and phone number
• Your hotel name or pickup address in Agadir, if you have requested a transfer
• Any medical condition, allergy, disability or physical limitation that could affect your safe participation
• Whether any participant is under 18, in which case a parent or guardian must accompany them

If any information changes after booking, contact us as soon as possible so we can update your reservation.

4. Participant requirements and safety

Quad biking and buggy driving require a minimum age of 16 years with a valid driving licence. Passengers on quads and buggies must be at least 6 years old and able to hold on securely. Horse riding and camel rides have no upper age limit but participants must be able to mount and dismount without assistance unless prior arrangements have been made.

We provide helmets for all motorised activities. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for quad and buggy tours. Our guides conduct a safety briefing before every trip and reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears unfit, intoxicated or unwilling to follow safety instructions.

5. Changes by us

We may need to adjust a route, time, vehicle or group size because of weather, safety, terrain conditions or operational reasons. If we make a significant change, we will contact you using the details you provided and offer an alternative date, time or activity. If no suitable alternative is available, you will receive a full refund of anything you have paid us.

6. Our liability

Land of Sand Adventure operates all activities with due care and in compliance with Moroccan tourism regulations. However, adventure activities carry inherent risks. By participating, you accept these risks.

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, injury caused by failure to follow guide instructions, or events outside our reasonable control including extreme weather, natural disasters or government restrictions.

We strongly recommend that every participant holds valid travel insurance covering adventure activities.

7. Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to flooding, earthquakes, storms, government action, pandemic or terrorism. In such cases we will offer rescheduling or a refund at our discretion.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agadir, Morocco.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a driving licence for quad biking?

Yes. The driver of a quad or buggy must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid driving licence. Passengers do not need a licence.

Can I book for a large group?

Yes. For groups of more than eight people, contact us on WhatsApp or by phone so we can confirm availability and assign enough guides and vehicles.

What happens if I am late?

Please call us if you are running late. If you miss the departure time, the trip may leave without you so other guests are not delayed. Late arrivals are treated as no-shows unless agreed otherwise.
